More remote and less touristy than Chitwan, Bardiya has one of Nepal's highest tiger densities. Dolphin-spotting on the Karnali River is a rare added bonus, and the wilder setting means more authentic encounters.
Bardiya has a higher tiger density and far fewer visitors, so sightings — while never guaranteed — are more likely in a wilder, quieter setting.
Fly Kathmandu → Nepalganj, then a short drive to the park. It is more remote than Chitwan, which is part of its appeal.
